With curvaceous shapes and a nipped center, Betty is a modern take on Mid-century era design. Sculptural mold-blown glass spheres glow in opal opaque, semi-opaque colors or clear glass. Edie explores the relationship between two similar forms. An exaggerated top column plays against the sconce’s overall sense of quiet restraint. While Edie evokes a certain feeling of timelessness, it retains a fresh and modern presence. Opal opaque mold-blown glass casts a warm glow while smoked grey, clear and blue semi-transparent glass are more neutral.
